At our clients, you will collaborate with development, testing, infrastructure, and release teams to craft the best of breed DevOps teams backed up by automated CI/CD Delivery pipelines. In this hands on and technical role, you will be helping our clients with tools such as Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, Gulp, Grunt, Selenium, Chef, Vagrant, Docker, and any other automation platform, framework, and delivery tool you can think of. In Liatrio you will be chipping in to our way of doing things including hiring, training, peer mentorship, and capability creation. What we expect you to do…

  • Understand and spread liatrio devops thoughtware, point of view, and transformation concepts to customers
  • Start, lead, and close delivery engagements with the customer
  • Delivery and logistics flow including kick off, weekly reporting, frequent client touch points, and demos
  • Support sales via discovery workshops, assessments, customer meetings, proposals, and sow efforts
  • Form/define the team composition by working with the leadership team and architects
  • Handle customer concerns and remove impediments
  • Assist customer with post-delivery efforts such as offboarding advice and follow on sales work
  • Drive efforts to identify and make re-usable slides, documentation, materials, and guides for future engagements
  • Provide internal hiring, onboarding, and consultant growth through people leadership/management

You should be able to meet all these expectations…

  • 60-80% travel availability
  • Excellent and precise interpersonal skills (Your resume should be no more than 2 pages)
  • 10+ years aggregate software delivery experience as a developer, architect, team lead, service delivery manager, or engagement lead
  • 5+ years of client facing work while leading small to midsize software delivery teams (3-10 people)
  • 3+ years of working in agile, lean, or iterative teams
  • 1+ years of work in the DevOps, CI/CD space (build/deploy pipelines, IaaC/Environment/Test automation)
  • Ability to influence multiple project sponsors of varying levels of seniority
  • US CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT, Liatrio cannot sponsor work visas

We would love if you have…

  • 2+ years in Management Consulting, Investment Banking, or equivalent work
  • Masters Degree in Computer Science or a technology degree with an MBA

Your tool bag should include strong experience with…

  • Building, updating, and sending SOW’s to a customer
  • Creating and delivering presentations (Google Slides, PPT) to an executive or project sponsor
  • Familiarity with modern OO development languages (Java, Python, Ruby, or similar)
  • Experience with communication tools (Slack, Hipchat, Confluence, or similar)
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (bash, shell, ansible, chef, puppet, or similar)
  • Familiarity with source control management systems (All major GIT variations)
  • Experience with ticket/defect tracking systems (JIRA, Rally, or similar tools)
  • Familiarity with build systems (Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar tools)
  • Familiarity with deployment automation systems (Jenkins, Urbancode Deploy, or similar tools)
  • Familiarity with automated testing/quality tools and frameworks (SonarQube, Cucumber, jUnit, and similar tools)
