Role Description:

At our clients, you will collaborate with development, testing, infrastructure, and release teams to craft the best of breed test automation capabilities and strategies backed up by automated CI/CD Delivery pipelines. In this hands on and technical role, you will be helping our clients adopt tools and techniques around SonarQube, jUnit, Karate, Cucumber, jMeter, TestNG, Selenium and any other quality automation platform and framework you can think of.

What we expect you to do…

  • Solve complex, hands-on technical challenges and perform research when dealing with unknowns
  • Design and develop scalable quality framework solutions that integrate into a CI/CD pipeline enabling continuous built-in quality from dev to prod
  • Enable application delivery teams with one or more quality frameworks, hand-hold through any special needs, and roll up your sleeves to solve for impediments
  • Teach clients and Liatrio team members what it means to build in quality and assume ownership of quality from ideation to production
  • Research, prototype, and uplift teams on Service and data virtualization tool(s)
  • Understand and spread Liatrio DevOps thoughtware, point of view, and transformation concepts to customers around quality and test engineering
  • Build software using patterns and practices to minimize future technical debt

You should be able to meet all these expectations…

  • 80% travel availability
  • Excellent and precise interpersonal skills (Ideal resume should be 1-2 pages)
  • Experience leading teams practicing BDD/ATDD using Cucumber and Selenium based tools
  • 4+ years total development and QE automated testing experience
  • 2+ years of client facing work
  • 2+ years of work in the DevOps space integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines
  • 1+ years of working in agile, lean, or iterative teams
  • US CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT
  • CANADIAN CITIZENS for TN visas (5+ years experience and engineering degree)

We would love if you have…

  • 1+ years in Management Consulting, Investment Banking, or equivalent work
  • Master degree in an Engineering Discipline (e.g. computer science, MIS, etc)
  • Knowledge of test automation for Mainframe applications
  • Experience with automated Test Data Management solutions

Your tool bag should include strong experience with…

  • Automated Testing/Quality (SonarQube, Cucumber, Selenium, Karate, jUnit, Gatling, Karma/Jasmine, TestNG, and similar tools)
  • Database Technologies (Oracle, MSSQL, MongoDB, or similar tools)
  • Modern OO development languages (Java, Python, Perl, Ruby, or similar tools)
  • Communication Tools (Slack, Hipchat, Confluence, or similar tools)
  • Scripting languages (bash, shell, ansible, chef, puppet, or similar tools)
  • Source Control Management Systems (All major GIT variations)
  • Ticket/Defect tracking Systems (JIRA, Rally, or similar tools)
  • Build Systems (Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar tools)
  • Artifact Management Systems (Nexus, Artifactory, or similar tools)
